The Armory Show 2015

At this year's Armory Show in New York we are focusing on works by Sol LeWitt, David Hockney, Ed Ruscha, Richard Estes, Andy Warhol & Roy Lichtenstein. These works will sit alongside an exhibition of prints and works on paper by Bridget Riley.

What’s So Funny? Teo Zirinis, You Made My Day!

Teo Zirinis ist ein Illustrator aus Griechenland, der meinen Tag heute um einiges schöner und vor allem lustiger gemacht hat! Eigentlich sollte man auf der Arbeit – äh – arbeiten, aber nachdem ich auf seinen Tumblr “Hands Off My Dinosaur” gestoßen bin, konnte ich nicht mehr aufhören, mich durch seine Bilder zu klicken. Mit witzigen Sprüchen, süßen Figuren und einem minimalistischen Design versinnbildlicht er das alltägliche Leben in wunderbar herrlichen Grafiken, die Freude bereiten! In diesem Sinne kann ich nur die Worte von Teo wiedergeben: “Drawing makes me happy. So does pizza. Thanks for stopping by”. Schaut doch mal auf seinem Tumblr, bei Instagram oder Facebook vorbei!

Kilogram font is designed by Karl from Kalle Graphics and was based on a font called Anagram by Nick Curtis. Kudos to Karl for designing such a stunning font and not charging for it.
